Brianna McCovey

Ms. McCovey earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California, Irvine, where she graduated with a degree in Political Science. While in school, Ms. McCovey worked part-time at Angulo McGhee on construction defect matters.

Ms. McCovey travelled to Washington D.C. where she attended American University Washington College of Law. She graduated Cum Laudeearning her Juris Doctor degree in May of 2019. While at American University, she participated in the Domestic Violence Clinic for two semesters and received a special honor for her work with clients in difficult life circumstances. Additionally, Ms. McCovey had numerous internships where she gained experience working in civil litigation firms, working as an immigration law clerk, and working for a Senator. After graduating, Ms. McCovey sat for the July bar and passed the exam in her first attempt.

Ms. McCovey has always pursued family law as her passion and was an Executive Board member of her school’s Family Law Association.

When not practicing law, Brianna enjoys spending time with her family and dog, Cooper.
