A Leader Guiding 200+ Attorneys Across the Western United States

Nicole oversees more than 200 attorneys across 11 offices throughout the Western U.S., including 89 attorneys based at the firm’s Newport Beach headquarters. Under her leadership, Bremer Whyte has grown into a powerhouse litigation firm known for excellence in family law, complex civil litigation, and a wide array of high-stakes legal matters.

Her strategic vision, hands-on leadership style, and commitment to mentorship have shaped Bremer Whyte into one of the region’s most respected legal institutions.

A Global Perspective and a Remarkable Journey

Born, raised, and educated in South Africa, Nicole began her legal career practicing law in Johannesburg. After immigrating to the United States in 1991, she rapidly immersed herself in the U.S. legal system and went on to found Bremer Whyte in 1997. Her international experience continues to influence the firm’s culture, values, and approach to solving complex legal challenges.

Nicole’s husband, Steve Nataupsky, is also a distinguished legal professional and serves as a Managing Partner at Knobbe Martens.
